DCHoopStars Mentoring Program
DCHoopStars is a mentoring program for DC youth in grades 7-12. We use basketball as a catalyst to bring them together, give them something fun and positive to do, surround them with loving adult role models, and expose them to the game and everything surrounding it from playing, the business of the game, journalism, and other careers in basketball that they can strive to. Funding only allows us to service 20 youths for six months and your help will allow us to service more youths and for the entire year. Each child gets a basketball, tee shirts, personalized jersey, basketball cards, posters, and tickets to basketball games throughout DC. It takes about $500 to service one child for one year. Mary L. Howard Memorial Scholarship
Mary L. Howard was a graduate of DC Public Schools and went on to major in Psychology. The scholarship will help others like Ms. Howard pursue their dream of helping others in the community. Even though Ms. Howard wasn’t able to gain a degree, she was still a great help to those in her life until her passing in June 2011. We begin the campaign on January 24, 2021 which would have been her 70th birthday.
EverythingSupa Incorporated are thankful for any and all donation that will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us and the Howard family.
Feel free to share and follow us on Instagram and Facebook @EverythingSupaDC for updates on the campaign’s progress.
